Challenge

Logica needed a strategic recruitment partner to build a proactive, direct sourcing solution in the UK.  Having embedded a successful UK service, Logica needed to design and implement a global recruitment proposition.

Solution

hyphen has delivered direct, permanent Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) to Logica since 2008. Success of the UK model, with a live on-site presence, led to it becoming a centre of excellence for the creation and rollout of a pilot global model.  Hyphen/Adecco RPO pilot markets went live in France, Finland, the Czech Republic and Brazil in 2010 and in India in early 2011.

hyphen is responsible for direct sourcing across all skill sets, supplier management, candidate screening, candidate pipeline generation, referrals, MI production, event management and customer engagement. 

As part of the pilot process, hyphen sat on a global working group within Logica, contributing jointly to the development of the global recruitment proposition, designed to span 40,000 employees across 36 countries. Logica and hyphen have also developed a joint go-to-market RPO proposition and are currently engaged in a recruitment administration partnership, with hyphen using Logica’s offshore administration team to service other RPO clients.

 

Results

• In the UK, significant yearly savings on agency spend vs. pre RPO direct hire model.  Direct hiring increased from 20% in 2007 to 80% in 2010. c700 hires in 2011 spanning outsourcing, systems integration, consulting and central services. 

Rationalised supply chain, process improvement, scalable team structure, innovative social media and attraction systems development.

• Globally, 35 hyphen/Adecco recruiters deployed across the UK and initial pilot markets.  Rapid design and implementation, local market specialism, central governance and direction. 

Key role in development of overall model and attraction and social media tools.
